The 28th Annual Eliza Classic is, as ever, a gathering of opaque ceremony. The prize is the Eliza Classic Trophy. The scoring is debated. The champion's name is engraved upon the trophy, in perpetuity. Particulars of dress, passage, and proceedings are set out hereafter; the watchword is held in confidence.
